Our 100% wool Scottish knitwear collection is made entirely in Scotland by Robert Mackie, who have been making knitted garments and headgear in Stewarton (the Bonnet Toon) for 175 years.

Robert Mackie originally opened in 1845, making traditional Scottish Glengarry and Balmoral headwear.  These are still manufactured by Mackie today and worn by clans and pipers around the world.

Drawing on the rich textile heritage of Ayrshire, they are known today for crafting sustainable, luxury Scottish wool knitwear of the highest standard, making them the stand-out choice to partner with for our first knitwear collection.

Contemporary Classics

Our Gillian Kyle Scottish knitwear collection pulls inspiration from Robert Mackie’s long Scottish heritage.

The collection includes modern takes on traditional Scottish patterns like Fairisle alongside contemporary stripes, geometric  patterns and colour blocks.

We are proud that our first knitwear collection is made in Scotland, using only natural woollen yarns to create renewable and sustainable products. As with everything we do here, making the least possible environmental impact was at the forefront of our minds when we created this collection.
