Our durable, lightweight and environmentally responsible Swedish Birchwood serving trays are 38 cm in diameter and can be washed up too 95 degrees C.
The trays are individually hand made by a small family business on the Swedish island of Öland using sustainably sourced birchwood. Layers of birchwood veneer are glued together to create a very lightweight yet highly durable tray.
Birch veneer is a natural material and just as there are no two identical birch trees, the veneer produced from them is not identical either! Variations in colour and pattern make each tray individually beautiful.
