Victorian Oatcakes Tea Towel (Grey)

Gillian’s ‘Oatcake’ design is a modern interpretation of some beautiful and ornate Victorian food packaging. These oatcakes were produced by the St Cuthbert’s Co-operative Association Ltd in Edinburgh in the early 1900’s. We’re especially fond of the good advice on the label “Before using – heat them, and they are much improved”!

100% organic, unbleached premium cotton tea towel; screen printed in either teal, or stone grey. The tea towel measures 48 x 76 cm (19 x 30 inches) - large enough to tackle even the largest pile of washing.

This tea towel has been carefully handmade from beginning to end in the UK by a small, family business that take pride in every product that they make for us.
